The Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA will hold its fifth annual Innovations in Regulatory Science Awards celebrating leadership, breakthroughs, and advocacy in science and public health on December 14, 2021.

Patrick J. Kennedy, founder of The Kennedy Forum, will receive the 2021 Advocacy/Policy Award for his “unwavering commitment to raising awareness and advocating for policies for millions who deal with mental health and substance use issues.” The event will be held virtually and will feature Acting FDA Commissioner Janet Woodcock, MD, as speaker and additionally recognize the work of Peter Marks, MD, PhD of U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the COVID-19 Research Database.
