Patrick J. Kennedy, former Rhode Island Congressman and international advocate for parity in mental health and substance use disorder treatment, will speak at The University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology and its Center for Oncology Psychology Excellence event,”Redefining Mental Health: A Community Conversation”. The free event takes place February 22 at The History Colorado Center and bring together local leaders in mental health. Kennedy will discuss mental health parity and look toequitable mental health care as the future of health care.
