The 51st annual RFK Human Rights Ripple of Hope Awards ceremony took place on December 12, 2019 in New York City.
The award ceremony celebrates leaders of the international business, entertainment, and activism communities who have demonstrated a commitment to social change and reflect Robert Kennedy’s passion for equality, justice, basic human rights, and his belief that each of us can make a difference.
The 2019 laureates were House Speaker Nancy Pelosi; author and champion for children’s rights, J.K. Rowling; environmentalist Wendy Abrams; and Livongo Founder and Executive Chairman, Glen Tullman.
Actor and comedian Chris Tucker served as MC.
