Patrick J. Kennedy to Speak at San Francisco General Hospital Foundation’s “Hearts in SF” February 13

San Francisco, C.A. / February 13, 2019 – The San Francisco General Hospital Foundation will host its annual “Hearts in SF” event February 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Pier 48 in San Francisco.

The event honors and highlights the community and mental health care programs at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG) and celebrates the 15th anniversary of the ‘Hearts in San Francisco’ public art project. Patrick J. Kennedy, former U.S. Representative (D-RI), lead sponsor of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, founder of The Kennedy Forum, former Rhode Island Congressman, and former member of the President’s Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis, will deliver the keynote address. The Honorable Mayor London Breed is also scheduled to be among the other speakers.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Foundation’s Transform Mental and Behavioral Health Fund, which provides funds for vital mental health programs at ZSFG. Entertainment will be provided by Geographer, the San Francisco-based American synth pop/indie rock band.
